BE RESTORED WITH PURPOSE
At Sparrow, we believe that the healing and restoration of one woman not only impacts her life, but the lives of her children, family, friends, and her community… in this generation and for many to come.
We invite women in need of relational and spiritual support to find hope and healing through our restorative programs.
All participants begin in Restore 1.0 where they gather to learn foundational truths from the Bible, explore the restorative work of art, share their story, and build supportive community.
After completion of Restore 1.0, participants move to Restore 2.0, where they delve deeper into prayer, Bible study, and continue to grow with a community of believers.
Each year, we welcome at least two women who have completed Restore 1.0 into our Job Training program where they are equipped with professional skills, explore their gifting, and continue to grow spiritually while receiving care.
Job Training graduates are invited to apply for a position in the ROW Production Studio Residency where they receive consistent part-time employment and holistic care while producing our ROW by Sparrow & Co brand of products.
A WORD ABOUT RESTORE FROM OUR FOUNDER & CEO RACHEL JOY
Restoration is the heartbeat of everything we do at Sparrow.
We believe everyone is significant in the eyes of God and that each person has immense value and is worthy of dignity. With the desire to value what God values, we strive to truly see those overcoming difficulty in our community, and seek their restoration through relational and spiritual care. We know that, regardless of a person’s background or circumstances, full restoration is possible through Jesus Christ.
Through our restorative programs, Restore 1.0, Restore 2.0, our eight month Job Training Program, and the Sparrow & Co production studio, we are meeting physical, spiritual, and relational needs while creating a safe and purposeful community. We desire to empower women and their families to flourish in their community!
Through providing job skills, budgeting, intentional goal setting, counseling, mentorship, and more, we are seeing lives change and hope rise. I am convinced God is on the move in our community!
WHY RESTORE
In 2024, it was reported that 58% of men and women in our area report that no one in their lives know them well, and that they experience extreme loneliness; 131,767 people in Denton county are suffering with a mental illness; about 73,000 people live below the poverty line; 11,166 people experience hunger in Denton County each day; approximately 4% of men and women remain unable to receive consistent employment to sustain family life; there has been a 74% increase in homelessness; 62.7% of people do not know Jesus.
We deeply desire to be part of a solution that breathes hope and light into the lives of those experiencing difficult circumstances. We want to see the numbers above change because lives are changing, and we would love for you to join us as we seek RESTORATION in this community, in this generation… and beyond!
